About me

Hey I’m Linu, I’m a digital designer, illustrator, animator and video editor which means on paper I'm an independent artist and full time graphic designer.

My dream never really started off as a designer. In fact I started off as a video editor for a small company back when I was in college. I carried it on through the majority of my young adult life till I hit 24 and basically did a re-assessment of ‘if I was enjoying what i was doing’, evidently not.

I started calligraphy back in 2013 and I started creating botanical paintings in 2016, and I’m incredibly self taught which means I break the rules more than I should but that's the fun part of figuring it all out. But being a video editor that's just enabled me to record the majority of my misshapen adventures and sharing the knowledge with others.

I’ve been a designer longer than I actually realised, and have known nothing else except for grid lines, spacing, typography, illustration and engaging content. I’ve recently started going back to my original love for story book illustrations, wildlife and nature, so I hope I get to recreate some childhood stories and folktales from all kinds of culture.

I believe that learning has been a constant for me in the last 15+ years. I learn new things along the way, either about myself, time and how precious it is, and new practices that will always keep evolving.
